ThriveWell Cancer Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer by funding cancer research, providing patient support and offering programs to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Co-founded by Dr. Amy Lang, Lynn Stahl and Amy Oefinger, we provide three different but equally important programs to those battling cancer in San Antonio.
ThriveWell’s Patient Assistance Program is focused on ensuring cancer patients are able to comply with their treatment plan by providing transportation, lodging and financial assistance to those in need. Our goal is to give patients the best possible chance of beating the disease while eliminating the added stressors that go hand-inhand with cancer.
Our Diva&Dude Program provides patients and survivors with free exercise, nutrition and wellness classes. In addition to promoting recovery and long-term health, having access to these classes can significantly reduce the chance of a survivor experiencing a recurrence.
Finally, ThriveWell provides seed funding to initiate cutting-edge research projects, helping to get innovative ideas into motion and laying the groundwork for future breakthroughs in cancer treatment and patient care. These projects have the potential to help change the course for those currently fighting a diagnosis and for those who will face one in the future.
