Introducing Dr. Claudia Hura, ThriveWell Board Member!
I am a native of Cleveland Ohio and a graduate of Purdue University and the Ohio State University College of Medicine. I moved to San Antonio in 1983. The next 34 years were spent in the practice of nephrology, in both private practice with SAKDC and on the faculty at UTHSCSA. I retired in 2018 and have maintained an Adjunct Faculty Position since then.
I have been involved with the Methodist Healthcare Ministries for over 20 years in a variety of roles. I joined the Board of Thrivewell in January, 2020. It has been a pleasure working with such a hard-working, dedicated group of people. When not volunteering, my husband Dennis and I enjoy indulging our passions for travel, wine, gardening, reading and dogs. We also enjoy indulging our combined 7 children and 9 grandchildren.
