Anglers and fishing enthusiasts gathered for an unforgettable weekend of sport, community, and giving back at the 2026 YTAC Invitational Fishing Tournament in Port Aransas, Texas.
Powered by ThriveWell Cancer Foundation, Young Texans Against Cancer, San Antonio (YTAC) hosted this highly anticipated event to support their mission of funding cancer research, providing vital patient support, and offering free health and wellness community programs that improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
The weekend kicked off on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at the Port Aransas Community Center with a check-in, dinner, and a high-energy Calcutta. The main competition teed off bright and early at 6:00 AM on Saturday, June 6th, followed by an exciting weigh-in at the Island Moorings Marina dock.
Through community sponsorships and participant involvement, the tournament successfully raised critical funds to help cancer patients and survivors thrive and gain access to life-saving treatment.
